In Eclipse, Bella is overcome with different emotions she’s feeling for the two main men in her lives. Edward, whom she is convinced she is destined to be with, has returned from Italy where he ran last year to stay away from Bella and attempt to keep her safe from him. During that time, Bella formed a close relationship with Jacob. She feels for him as just a best friend but Jacob wants and sees that there could be more. Bella tries to get Edward to turn her into a vampire through out the story, and ends up being promissed a shot after graduation.
Meanwhile, in Seatle, numurous murders are occuring and the Cullens are under suspicion that a newborn vampire is on the loose. It isn’t until Alice sees visions of their old enemy Victoria, that they discover she is building an army of newborn vampires to seek her revenge on the Cullen family and Bella. In Eclipse, Bella must decide between a werefolf and a vampire and survive the ultimate threat of death against her.
